Memorial Day Celebration Event Planned For Long Valley

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Washington Township Recreation is hosting a Memorial Day ceremony on May 28, and residents are invited to join city officials in honoring fallen veterans in the community and across the country.

The event begins at 12 p.m. at Rock Spring Park in Long Valley.

The annual ceremony will be held in collaboration with the American Veteran’s Association of Washington Township Post 1776. Combat Veteran Brian Bergen, a retired US Army officer, will deliver the keynote address.

Township officials would like to remind residents that dogs are not permitted at the Memorial Day event. For any questions regarding this event contact the recreation office at (908) 876-5941.
