Mobile Clinic Provides Addiction Treatment To Long Valley Residents
Morris County's Hope One mobile recovery access vehicle provides vital assistance to people struggling with addiction.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — Morris County's Hope One mobile recovery access vehicle will be in Long Valley this week to provide critical support to people struggling with addiction.
Hope One travels twice a week throughout Morris County, providing services to those in need. The vehicle is staffed by a Sheriff's officer, a licensed clinician and a certified peer recovery specialist who understands the needs of those suffering from addiction.
On Wednesday, Aug. 17, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Hope One van will be at Schooley's Mountain Park, 91 East Springtown Road, providing critical services to people with substance use and mental health disorders.

The Hope One team will provide free Narcan training and kits, substance use and mental health counseling, and even transportation to detox and rehab facilities in areas known for overdoses, homeless populations, and hand-to-hand drug transactions.
The van's interior includes an operator workstation, plenty of shelving and storage for brochures, toiletries, snacks, donated clothing, and other items distributed to clients and visitors by the Hope One team, as well as air conditioning and heat.

The Hope One mobile recovery access vehicle supplements Navigating Hope, which offers on-site benefits eligibility screenings and application assistance, as well as referrals to other community services.
Both services aim to connect residents with public service agencies that can help vulnerable and at-risk people find the help they need, which can range from homeless solutions and addiction treatment to mental health counseling or a combination of services.
