PBA Fishing Derby Will Cast at Koehler's Pond in June

Think you’ve got the best reel in the land? Now’s your chance to prove it.

The annual Washington Township PBA Fishing Derby is set and inviting kids up to age 12 to take part at Koehler’s Pond on Rock Road.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, with the derby starting at 9 a.m. for fishers from Washington Township and Califon Borough.

Three age groups will be set-up: up to 5; six to nine; and 10 to 12, with prizes awarded for biggest catch in each category.

As always, hot dogs and refreshments will be available and the opportunity to donate to the PBA will be available as well.

The derby runs from 9 a.m. to noon.
