ICYMI: Community Gathers For 'Night Out' in Long Valley

Rock climbing wall, food, slides, ice cream, helicopters, summertime torrential rain. Name it and the ‘Night Out’ event in Washington Township Tuesday had it.

Taking its own spin on the annual National Night Out campaign, the Washington Township Police Department, Fire Department, and First Aid Squad banded together to organize a highly successful program for local residents to gather, have fun, and learn about what the organizations do.

A DJ provided musical entertainment throughout the night, accompanied by an enchanted princess, a helicopter landing by the New Jersey State Police, and a jaws-of-life demonstration by the Long Valley First Aid Squad.
