Senior Citizens and 911: What You Should Know

The Senior Resource Center and Washington Twp. Library will host this free Zoom talk on Monday, November 23rd at Noon

LONG VALLEY - On Monday, November 23rd at Noon, The Senior Resource Center (SRC) and Washington Township Public Library will host "Senior Citizens and 911: What You Should Know," part SRC's monthly "Lunch 'n' Learn" series. The program will be held live over Zoom. Presenter Rebecca Jordan has been a physical therapist for 35 years, the last 28 with Kessler Rehabilitation, and an EMT for 20 years. For the last 2 years she has been a member of the Long Valley First Aid Squad. In her talk, she will review the most common reasons seniors in Washington Township make 911 calls, what to expect if you do need to make an emergency call, and how to be prepared for the arrival of emergency services. She will also review ways to avoid getting into these situations, as fortunately, many emergencies are preventable. This should be a lively and interesting Zoom talk.
