Sherlock Holmes Radio Show at W.T. Library

LONG VALLEY - The Friends of the Washington Township Library will host their annual holiday program and lunch on Wednesday, December 11, at Noon. Presented by Raconteur Radio and adapted from the novel by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, "Sherlock Holmes & the Hound of the Baskervilles" features Sherlock Holmes and his companion Doctor Watson as they investigate the case of an attempted murder inspired by the legend of a fearsome, diabolical hound of supernatural origin. This staged radio drama features: Period costumes! Theatrical lighting! fog machine! Vintage commercials! Victorian carols! Live musical interlude! Golden Age radio equipment! And extensive sound effects! Afterwards, a light lunch will be served. The program and lunch are sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
