'Some Guy In New Jersey' Represents Long Valley in State's Birthday Photo Exhibit
Mark Rogers selected to participate in NJ350 Elements experience at Duke Farms.

Oscar Wilde once penned “life imitates art more than art imitates life.”
At Duke Farms in Hillsborough, both categories will be on full display through the month of August to celebrate New Jersey’s 350th anniversary, as photos printed on pieces of 40” by 60” water-resistant satin fabric will be hung and illuminated by the natural light.
Twenty-seven images were selected from a bounty of entries from both amateur and professional photographers 18 years and older, all of whom needed to be from New Jersey with the photos taken in the Garden State as well. Duke Farms exhibit is titled NJ350 Elements.

One of those 27 comes from Mark Rogers of Long Valley, also known as “Some Guy In New Jersey,” whose photo of sunflowers standing tall in the dusk sky combines vibrant colors rarely seen together. Rogers’ website address (someguy-in-newjersey.com) isn’t just an Internet page, he says, rather he’s often recognized by that moniker just as much as his real name.
Photographers and artists Danielle Austen, Nancy Edwards, Jim LaSala and Jim Roselli served as judges in the section process of the final images set for display.
