With warm weather just around the corner, the nearly desolate streets of quaint shopping towns like Clinton will soon be alive and bustling. Consider heading to Main Street in Clinton for a fun day out with friends or a romantic outing with a significant other.
Stroll down the historic street and browse the unique boutiques and enjoy lunch or dinner at one of Clinton’s fine restaurants. Take in the sights and sounds of the rushing river as you cross the bridge to the 200-year old Red Mill Museum, where you will learn about the first European settlers and the making of Clinton through exhibits and lectures.
Afterward, head over to The Old River House Restaurant for lunch on their outdoor patio. Positioned right on the river, the patio gives diners spectacular views of the Red Mill and the Hunterdon Art Museum and features live Jazz music every Friday and Saturday night during the summer.
