Three Long Valley Travel Basketball Teams Win Championships

Congratulations to the Wolfpack!

LONG VALLEY, NJ— The Long Valley boy's travel basketball team The Wolfpack had a strong showing at their championships, with teams in three age divisions taking home the top title.

The 4th, 7th and 8th grade teams all won their age groups at the March 12th Lakeland Midget Basketball League championship games. Long Valley was one only towns to send three teams to the championships (the other was Randolph, who won one championship).

The fourth grade team had a perfect season, going 16-0 in the regular season. They also won all three of their postseason games.

The seventh grade team was 13-3 in the regular season, and went on to defend their championship title.

In their final year before high school, the eighth grade team won their second league championships. The team has had an impressive run: they made four final four appearances, and won the Lakeland League regular season championships four times, the first team in league history to do so.
