Undefeated Lady Highlanders Breeze Through Field Hockey Tourney Quarterfinals

West Morris Central’s Lady Highlanders were given the top seed in the Morris County Tournament thanks to an undefeated record, but proved why in Wednesday’s quarterfinals.

Matched up against No. 9 seed Montville, Central cruised to victory by a score of 4-1, thanks to Mikayla Young’s 100th career point on a goal and individual scores from Kayla Mosser, Katherine Worth, and Skylar Migliaccio, according to nj.com.

Central currently holds an 11-0 record on the season, tied with Northern Highlands for tops in Section 1, Group 3.

Central is looking to bounce back from 2013’s Morris County Tournament finals loss to Madison when the Lady Highlanders dropped the title game 3-1.
