Watch: Washington Twp. Library Hops On Social Media Time-Jump Trend
The popular social media trend has been seen from icons like Courtney Cox, Usher, and apparently the Washington Township Library.
LONG VALLEY, NJ — Do you remember what you were like in the 1990s? That’s the question the Washington Township Library asked itself as it hopped on a viral social media trend.
The back-in-time trend has users, typically prompted by text, asking “(User,) what were you like in the 90s?”
The user then proceeds to show a montage of photos of themselves back in the final decade of the 20th century, of course, set to the tune of the 90s rock anthem “Iris” by the Goo Goo Dolls.

The library, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, included photos of the building’s interior, its construction, newspaper clippings announcing its opening, and more from 1996.
