LONG VALLEY, NJ — Members of the Washington Township Municipal Utilities Authority announced that they were addressing a water main break in Long Valley on Wednesday afternoon. According to officials, the break was caused by a contractor striking a water main on Valley View Road. "An MUA repair team is en route," police said. For roughly the next eight hours, the water main break will affect service for all residents on Valley View Rd, Carl Lane, and #23-33 Long Valley Blvd, officials said.
