Wheelchair Basketball Fundraiser Set for Central
Teams of five invited to play, compete against Jr. Nets.

A one-of-a-kind event is coming to Washington Township in April, and the community is invited to take part.
In conjunction with the Long Valley Basketball Assocation, the New Jersey Adaptive Sports Association will host a wheelchair basketball charity event at West Morris Central High School on April 11, featuring Long Valley’s own Ryan Albertson as a member of the Brooklyn/Jersey Jr. Nets wheelchair team.
As many as 15 teams comprised of adults, teachers, and students can come out and play a quarter against the Jr. Nets to see what it’s like competing in a wheelchair.

The event is open to boys and girls in grades five and up and will raise money for the NJ Adaptive Sports Association.
Teams are made up of five members and require a registration fee of $50, which can be paid online here, or a check made out to NJ Adaptive Sports Association to LVBA, P.O. Box 385, Long Valley, 07853.

Admission tickets for spectators are $3 for adults, $2 for kids under 17, and the event is from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on April 11.
