Wolfpack Football Begins Title Hunt On The Road Saturday

Team will play four home games, five on the road in 2014 season.

There’s a bitter, bitter taste in the mouths of these wolves.

West Morris Central’s Wolfpack football team ended its 2013 campaign in heartbreaking fashion, falling at home to sister-school Mendham in a shutout playoff loss.

Twenty-four seniors return to the squad with the hopes of finishing off their high school careers with a championship title in the North II, Group IV division. It would be the school’s first as members of the section, and first title since 2012 when the school was part of the North II, Group III section.

The Wolfpack won’t have an easy road, though, with games against perennial powerhouses like Delbarton, Randolph, and Roxbury. They’ll look to avenge last season’s playoff loss to Mendham as well.

West Morris Central’s season kicks off Saturday afternoon, on the road against Parsippany Hills High School. Below is the team’s schedule to follow as the season goes along.
