Woman Who Drove Across Long Valley Front Lawns Was Drunk: Police

She also crashed her car into a tree, police said.

LONG VALLEY, NJ — A woman who drove across people's front lawns in Long Valley was drunk. Washington Township police said in a statement.

After driving across several Zellers Road homes lawns, police found a pick-up truck crashed into a tree.

Police identified the driver as Jannie Worthington, 43, from Hackettstown, who police said was intoxicated. She was taken to Hackettstown Medical Center for observation.

She was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and failure to keep right. She was released with a pending court date in Washington Township municipal court.
