Jared Halpern, a highly decorated officer who died Monday at 43 after battling an extremely rare cancer. The longtime Evesham detective was honored for saving a suicidal man, earning multiple Warrior Awards, and is remembered for his dedication to family, colleagues, and community service across South Jersey.
