What's your go-to local breakfast place? I rotate my breakfast places
What was the last concert you went to? Brandi Carlile
What's your go-to pizza place? Also rotate my pizza places but I’ve been in Madison so long that I remember when there was only one pizza option; Frank’s Pizza, which is now Rocco’s. So I do lean towards Rocco’s.
What scary movie still gives you nightmares? The Birds
What would you choose as your last meal? Surf and turf but assuming that the last meal will be many years from now, I may need to have it pureed.
What's playing now on your car radio? The Spectrum channel on Sirius-XM
If you could invite one person from history over for dinner, who would it be and why? I would prefer to make it a dinner party but if it had to be one I would invite Martin Luther King. I would love to hear his view of America today; after we had our first African-American President but still so far to go.
What was the best day of your life? My wedding day.
Advice your mother, father or a mentor gave you that you now know to be true? When I was an older teen my father told me, “Nothing good happens in Madison after 10 p.m.” While his advice was for a different reason, this is why I strive to end every meeting by 10 p.m.
