Local Short Film Company Selected for Bernardsville Film Festival

Mortenveld Productions’ award winning short film Company will be featured at the Bernardsville Film Festival as part of the Friday Night Funnies showcase on April 24 at 6:00 PM.

Produced out of Madison New Jersey, Company continues to gain momentum on the festival circuit with multiple awards and official selections. The film has earned Best Actress for Georgette Castro at both the East Village New York Film Festival and the Grove Film Festival, a Gold Award for Best Short Film at the Florence Film Awards, and Best Original Script at the Athens International Monthly Art Film Festival. It was also recognized as Best Comedy at the South Film and Arts Academy Festival.

Company has been officially selected to screen at festivals across the country and internationally, including the upcoming Myrtle Beach International Film Festival, where it will make its Southeast premiere.

The film is a heartfelt comedy about connection and belonging, reminding audiences that family is not always the people we are born to, but the company we keep.

The Bernardsville screening marks a special hometown appearance, giving local audiences a chance to experience the film on the big screen as part of a curated night of comedy shorts.
