In February 2023, Flaco, a Eurasian eagle-owl, escaped from the Central Park Zoo and embarked on an extraordinary year-long adventure through Manhattan. Having spent his entire life in captivity, he had to learn to fly, hunt and survive on his own—and, remarkably, he did.
