Coldwell Banker Realty in New Jersey Hosted “Agents of Change”

Real estate company celebrates diversity and provides educational networking opportunities

MADISON, N.J. (March 25, 2019) – Coldwell Banker Realty in New Jersey hosted an “Agents of Change” Mastermind event on Feb. 20 at its Madison, N.J. headquarters, part of a companywide effort to celebrate diversity and provide educational networking opportunities for affiliated sales associates.

Hal Maxwell, president of Coldwell Banker Realty in New Jersey, hosted the sold-out event, which was sponsored by Freddie Mac and Guaranteed Rate Affinity (GRA). Roderick Logan, branch vice president of Coldwell Banker Realty in Montclair and diversity and inclusion liaison for Coldwell Banker Realty in New Jersey, facilitated the event.

Jason Riveiro, national director of multicultural and growth markets for Coldwell Banker Realty’s parent company, Realogy, hosted an agent panel dedicated to “finding your niche” in the real estate market. The trio of real estate panelists who shared their success stories and strategies were Irving Cham of Coldwell Banker Realty in Maplewood, Frances Rosado of Coldwell Banker Realty in Montclair, and Elsa Seguinot of the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Hudson Valley Regional Sales Center Office. Carmen Mercado, affordable lending business development manager for Freddie Mac, provided information on the organization’s lending programs that agents could utilize in serving diverse markets. Maxwell and Susan Yannaccone, executive vice president of Coldwell Banker Realty, spoke on the company’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Representatives from the Asian Real Estate Association of America, National Association of Gay & Lesbian Real Estate Professionals, National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals and National Association of Real Estate Brokers were on-site to share their missions of supporting business growth, education opportunities and community service in the real estate industry.
