Cops Seek Help In Rash Of Madison Burglaries, $1,000 Reward Offered
Three break-ins occurred in 11 days, police report.

Madison, N.J. – A series of burglaries spanning 11 days in Madison has lead to the Morris County Sheriff’s Office CrimesStoppers program seeking the public’s assistance in the cases and offering a reward if an arrest leads to prosecution.
The first burglary occurred on June 17 between 12:45 and 1:15 p.m. on Ridgedale Avenue. It’s believed the suspect never gained entry into the home but broke a window pane on the rear door to the residence.
On the same day between 6 and 6:30 p.m., a second burglary occurred on Cook Avenue. The suspect stole cash after breaking a window and entering the apartment from the fire escape at the rear of the property.

The third burglary occurred on June 28 between 10:30 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. on Woodland Road. A plexiglass window on a side door was pushed in, and the suspect ransacked the house, stealing several thousand dollars worth of jewelry.
