MADISON: Downtown Concert Series, July 10
Free Downtown Concert Series at the Museum of Early Trades and Craft with Jodie and the Normals.
The Museum of Early Trades & Crafts invites guests to the Downtown Concert Series, featuring the rock band Jodie and the Normals. The concert is sponsored by Morris Arts and Madison Downtown Development Commission.
Jodie and the Normals return to the Downtown Concert Series with their exciting brand of crowd-pleasing soul, witty lyrics, catchy melodies, fresh arrangements and exquisite harmonies.
“The Normals” are three friends who write, perform, and make people feel good with their music: acclaimed NYC songwriter, vocalist, and pianist, Jodie Levinson, revered jazz and Latin trumpeter, percussionist, singer & songwriter, Luis Camacho and the very talented and animated guitarist, arranger & songwriter, Zack Schwartz.

The Downtown Concert Series, six FREE Friday evening, family-friendly concerts, is held outside on the lawn of the Museum where picnicking is encouraged! The concerts began with local favorite Rosewood on June 26th and continue on July 10, July 24, August 7, August 21 and September 4. Guests are encouraged to spend time Friday evening in downtown Madison where they can explore the town’s many unique shops and restaurants.

Regular Museum admission is $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for seniors, students & children, and free for Members. Family maximum admission $13.00. The Museum is open Tuesday – Saturday 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. and Sunday Noon to 5 P.M. Closed Monday & Major Holidays. (SUMMER HOURS- July & August, Tuesday – Saturday 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. Closed Sunday & Monday)
Housed in a 1900 Richardsonian-Romanesque Revival building listed on the National Register of Historic places, the Museum explores 18th- and 19th-century American history, with a focus on New Jersey. Drawing on its collection of over 8,000 hand tools and their products, METC uses material culture to interpret the lives and technologies of people who lived and worked before the rise of large-scale industrialization in this country. The Museum offers visitors of all ages a broad range of changing exhibits, and related programs that address many facets of early American history, craftsmanship, and the diversity of trades performed by men and women.
