A coffeehouse for all ages will be held on Saturday, April 21st at 7:00 pm at the Madison Public Library. Vocalists and musicians, Amanda and Evan Rohrs-Dodge will perform. In Maryland she directed church choirs, taught privately, and participated in local community theatre. She now lives in Madison with her husband, Evan Rohrs-Dodge.
Evan Rohrs-Dodge played music all around Maine and New Brunswick, Canada, before moving to New Jersey in January 2009. He played solo and in a variety of bands, fusing country, reggae, rock 'n' roll, and folk. His favorite musical incarnation was as a bass player in a Frank Zappa cover band. He also held his own on mandolin and banjo in several country bands.
Evan and Amanda love the sounds of the '60's and 70's, and will be playing much loved songs from The Beatles, John Denver, James Taylor, The Monkees, Simon and Garfunkel, and more.
