
The 50-voice Rutgers University Chorus, Newark Campus, will give a concert at the The United Methodist Church in Madison on Sunday afternoon, April 29, 4 PM. The concert, open to the public, will include a cappella and accompanied works of Beethoven, Chilcott, Diemer, Donizetti, Elgar, Foster, Rutter, Stanford, Steinberg, and arrangements of spirituals and folksongs. Prof. John E. Floreen is Conductor of the Chorus and Susan McAdoo is the Assistant Conductor. Accompanist for the concert will be Joseph Arndt. Tickets will be available at the door: General admission is $10; students and senior citizens, $5; preferred seating (seats up front), $25. Proceeds will benefit the church's Music program.
