The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center - Young Beethoven

Join us for the first of three concerts in the 2012-2013 season of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center at Drew!

Ludwig van Beethoven burst onto the musical scene in Vienna in 1795 at the ripe age of 25, using his Opus 1 Piano Trios as his calling card. He thrilled audiences with virtuosity and inventiveness. Six years later, his newly minted Serenade and Quintet wowed listeners even without the help of the keyboard.
