The Discovery Orchestra® Presents Vivaldi's The Four Seasons: Third Discovery Concert® for Television to be Taped Before Live Audience

As part of its 25^th anniversary celebration, The Discovery Orchestra’s (TDO) upcoming Discovery Concert will explore Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 7 p.m. in The Concert Hall at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey.  Select Discovery Concerts are taped before a live audience for delivery into millions of American homes via public television and DVD.  TDO’s second Discovery Concert – Discover Beethoven’s 5^th – has received three Telly Awards and was recently nominated for an Emmy® Award.  As the only educational organization in America dedicated exclusively to teaching audiences how to listen to classical music, TDO transforms the listening experience for millions of people – from students and curious classical novices to experienced concert goers and professional educators, people from eight to 80 years old – helping people connect more deeply and in a meaningful way with classical music.  The live performance will be presented in memory of long-time TDO friend and trustee Bill Hengen.
