Mystery mingled with the scent of kettle corn at this week's Farmers Market as shoppers were invited to take part in a scavenger hunt. There were two versions of the challenge—one dubbed Slightly Sweetened Sleuths for younger patrons, the other Super Spicy Sleuths for those with a few Agatha Christies under their belts. Scores of participants learned that though quiche was from France, Yona, who sells them, is from Brooklyn; that Suburban shoes has more Crocs than flip flops on their sidewalk display; that Alstede Farm is the only place that you can eat more than 32 flavors of ice cream on top of a giant hay pyramid and that Fantanarosa's ravioli comes in 56 varieties, including grilled pear and gruyere.
