Felony Lane Gang Might Have Struck In Madison
Two cars were burglarized and police suspect the East Coast crime group was behind it, police said.

MADISON, NJ— After two cars were burglarized in Madison, police suspect the East Coast crime group known as the Felony Lane Gang was responsible.
Two cars parked at the Main Street Walgreen's were broken into on March 3, police said in a statement. Both cars had their passenger windows smashed and valuables taken, including an entire purse.
Both cars were locked but had valuables in plain view, police said.

Madison Police said they believed the burglaries were the work of the Felony Lane Gang, a "criminal enterprise" that targets people where they're most likely to leave valuables in the car, like banks, schools, gyms.
Madison Police remind all residents to take valuables when they park their cars, even if they're just running inside for what feels like a brief amount of time.

The smash-and-grab style is common for the Felony Lane Gang, who usually break into cars quickly, grabbing anything within sight. Their name comes from the practice of using the drive through bank lane furthest from the building in order to remain invisible to tellers and security camera.
