Main Street In Madison Reopened After Fire
Road was closed in both directions between Central and Green Village, authorities said.
MADISON, NJ - Main Street in Madison has reopened in both directions after Fire Department activity closed it down Monday, according to officials.
According to authorities, shortly after 11 a.m. a two alarm a fire broke out on the roof of 49 Main Street and Chatham Borough and Cedar Knolls were called in to assist. The road was closed in both directions between Central and Green Village, authorities said.
The road was reopened shortly before 12:30 p.m. and officials thanked motorists for their patience.
