Madison: Help Patch Take On The Menace Of Bullies
Patch wants to hear your stories as part of our advocacy reporting project.
October is National Bullying Prevention Month and Patch wants to take on the menace of bullies as part of an advocacy reporting project.
As part of this national initiative, Patch has been looking at society's roles and responsibilities in bullying. Last week, we shared some local school district statistics, strategies and stories surrounding bullying in schools. Field Editor Russ Crespolini also shared his tale of being bullied and being the bully in his column on Sunday.
But we know we have barely scratched the surface of what is out there.

Do you have a story to tell? Maybe it was something you experienced as a child or teenager or even in college. Maybe it was sports related hazing or the trials and tribulations of riding on the bus. It could be something you had to experience through the eyes of a friend, sibling or child as well.
We also know that bullying exists in the workplace. Maybe you are suffering now and need to vent. We want to know what your story is and how you handled it or how you wish you handled it and what advice you could give others struggling.
