Man Robbed At Gunpoint In Madison: Police

The man was walking down the street when he was attacked, police said.

MADISON, NJ — A Madison man walking down the street was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night, Madison Police Chief Darren Dachisen said in a statement.

A 50-year-old man was walking near 93 Main Street around 10:40 p.m. Sunday night when he ducked through a covered driveway, Dachisen said. He was approached by two tall men wearing masks and dark clothing.

The masked men pointed a gun at the man, ordered him to the ground, and took $800 in cash from his pockets, Dachisen said. The masked men fled towards Main Street.

The man was uninjured.
