Medical Cannabis Dispensaries Could Come To Madison
The Madison Council began what has been a long road to potentially introducing a marijuana dispensary to the town at the beginning of the year. During a council meeting late last month, Resolution 131-2022 was passed, which reviewed the planning board's recommendation on medical cannabis dispensaries, in relation to Ordinance 18-2022, which amends the Madison Borough code on land development.

Madison Farmers Market Guide For 2022 Season: Schedule, Vendors
If you're a lover of local produce and freshly-made treats, rejoice. The Madison farmers market has returned for the 2022 season. The market, which is now in its 30th year, will be open every Thursday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Dodge Field until Nov. 17.

Madison Resident Named A Governor's STEM Scholar
Drew University graduate student Lisa Stites has been named one of the Governor's STEM Scholars, a program of the New Jersey Research and Development Council. Stiles is one of the 100 New Jersey high school and college students to complete the year-long program, which provides a complete view of New Jersey's STEM economy. The Governor's STEM Scholars 2022 class includes scholars from 20 different New Jersey counties.
Madison Sees Uptick In Stolen Cars: Police Issue Warning
As counties throughout New Jersey have seen an increase in vehicle thefts, the Madison Police Department would like to remind all residents to be cautious when leaving their cars parked. Madison police advise residents to remove key fobs and personal items and to keep their vehicles locked when parked outside their homes.
