Short Stories Art Gallery Reception

Join us to celebrate the wonderful work of artist Orna Greenberg on our gallery walls!

Saturday, April 30th from 6:30 - 8:30 pm ~ Short Stories Community Book Hub. Refreshments will be served.

Orna Greenberg has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Tyler School of Art at Temple University. She worked in graphic design as a package designer and annual report designer before moving to New Jersey. Orna has been painting en plein air-landscapes painted outdoors for the last six years. The paintings on exhibit are from trips to Florence, Italy, as well as to Monhegan Island, Maine, and Bald Head Island, North Carolina. Interspersed are some local scenes from Morris County and Nomehegan Park. Most of these paintings are in oil, a few are watercolors.

The exhibit also includes a selection of stunning portraits. Orna has been painting portraits for 8 years. Her style is alla prima, which means the portrait is done in one sitting with simple brush strokes. All the portraits in this exhibit were done at the Art Students League. Each painting is the work of a single day.
