2 Children, 7 Others Injured In Bergen County Blaze, Reports Say
A 5-year-old girl was given CPR at the scene and the fire destroyed a 3-story home, officials said in reports.
LITTLE FERRY, N.J. — A 5-year-old girl was given CPR at the scene of a fire that ripped through a home and vehicles in the borough late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, according to reports.
A three-story home burned down and eight other people, including a 6-year-old and three police officers, were treated for smoke inhalation, PIX11 reported.
Some of the victims may have suffered second- and third-degree burns, NBC4 reported.

Little Ferry police could not be reached for direct comment.
The fire started at 109 Washington Ave. at about 11 p.m. Tuesday and was extinguished hours later, according to the PIX11 report.

A Little Ferry police officer was driving down a local road heard "an explosion" near the house and saw the blaze start, PIX11 reported.
Lt. Chris Boel said people jumped out of windows to safety and police pulled several people out of the building, according to PIX11.
A neighbor with the Instagram username @atehbecca posted that she heard the blast originate from the house.

Authorities were on the second floor of the home at about 4:30 a.m. trying to determine what caused the blaze, NBC4 reported.
