24 New Bergen County Coronavirus Cases; Town By Town Breakdown
The latest coronavirus update from the New Jersey Department of Health.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — The New Jersey Department of Health has reported 24 new positive cases of the coronavirus as of 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
Now, the county has a total of 1,760 confirmed coronavirus deaths, 19,907 positive test results and 272 probable deaths.
On Friday, the county released case numbers for each Bergen County municipality.

Despite signs that the virus is, at least relatively, under control in New Jersey, colleges across the state are beginning to announce decisions on the fall semester, which include at least partial remote learning.

Bergen Community College announced last week that the fall 2020 semester would be only fully done online, while William Paterson in Wayne announced some classes will be in-person, but university staff would also be furloughed for 12 days during the academic year. Ramapo College is expected to announce a decision regarding the fall semester this week, President Peter Mercer said in June.
