Bergen County Academies' Relay For Life Cancer Fundraiser Has Begun
Hundreds of people participate in the fundraiser to help raise thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society.
The annual Bergen County Academies Relay for Life fundraiser has begun. The annual event will culminate in June, hopefully raising thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society.
Relay for Life is a national event held at thousands of high schools throughout the United States. The student-led walks are typically held in May and June. Cancer survivors, their families and members of the community walk around high school tracks all day and night to raise money to help cancer victims and fund cancer research.
The Bergen County Academies event is June 9; $570 has been donated to date.
