PHOTOS: Animal Blessing at Holy Cross Lutheran Church
About 25 dogs, cats and snakes were blessed!
On Sunday, October 7, Holy Cross Lutheran Church located on Glasgow Terrace and Route 202, hosted its "first-time ever" Blessing of the Animals. About 25 dogs, cats and snakes came with their owners to be blessed by Pastor Dennis Rockett. The service lasted about half-an-hour with everyone enjoying the friendship of each others pets. Special treats were available for everyone and the service concluded with singing "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands".
