Every evening starting around 7:30 p.m., six, eight, sometimes 10 white egrets sit in the same trees behind Winters Pond. You need to walk past the playground and go to the back pond to see them.
They are quite comical because they roost at the end of the branches so they are always bouncing. Since thay are across the back pond you can't really spook them or bother them. Bring binoculars.
The picture I took of them had to be out of focus because I did not have their permision to publish their photo.
