We explained in great detail about our Flooding. The issue with Suffern NY having a poor drainage plan and our other concerns. The Suffern plan as of now is drain into the Mahwah River. This plan must be changed. The old Quarry in Suffern known as " Tilcon Quarry" is a perfect place for Suffern drainage. The future plan for the Quarry site at the moment is the building of 250 or more Town Homes/ Condos. Can you imagine our flooding? We have enough issues without the thought of this huge building project. The only hope for our Flood Remediation is this Quarry being used for a pumping system that will help with the overflow of Suffern Rivers and Streams. Allowing for Suffern drainage to be pumped into this site.
