On Your Mark... Get Set....

The MAHWAH SCHOOLS FOUNDATION invites you to Save the Date for the 15th annual Mawah 10k/5k/Kid Run. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to celebrate with the nearly 1,000 people who participate in the run and fun every year. Come join us on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at in Mahwah.

The Mahwah Run began in 1997 as the brainchild of several district parents and teachers including Lynda and Tom Zaccone, who still officiate the start of every race. A USATF NJ sanctioned race, The Mahwah Run attracts runners of all skill levels and ages: from serious runners who are timed using electronic chips, to pre-schoolers running their first “Pre-k.”

Proceeds from the race, as well as all of the MSF’s events, are used to provide grants in each of Mahwah’s schools. Past grants include smartboards, fitness equipment, language arts and science programming and technology to enhance interactive mathematic learning in the classroom.
