Along with beloved songs, the program features fascinating anecdotes about their recording careers — from Peggy Lee’s subtle, intimate vocal style that redefined jazz phrasing in the studio to Doris Day’s bright, expressive recordings that made her one of the most popular vocalists of the mid-20th century.
