Celebrate Mahwah Day This Saturday

Mahwah Day kicks off at noon with a parade down East Ramapo Avenue. Here's what else to know.

MAHWAH, NJ — Mahwah Day is scheudled for this Saturday, and will be bookended with a parade and fireworks.

The day starts at noon with a parade down East Ramapo Avenue leading to Commodore Perry Field. There, residents can partake in a day full of "food, kiddie rides, games and entertainment." Include in those festivities are pumpkin painting, carnival games and even a mechanical bull.

A dog-show is back for 2021, and there are three live bands scheduled throughout Saturday. Fireworks start at 8 p.m.

Parking and shuttle buses will run from Lincoln Tech on McKee Drive off of Island Road, officials said.
