Cooperstown-Bound Team Hosting Family Movie Night

The Mahwah 12U Baseball Team is headed to Cooperstown to play in an annual tournament next month. Residents can help them get there by heading to Friday night at 6 p.m. for dinner and a movie.

As a fundraiser, the team is hosting a big-screen showing of Sandlot 3. A $10 ticket buys two slices of pizza, one drink, and a ticket to see the movie, which will be shown in the gym. Snacks and Mahwah Youth Baseball apparel will also be for sale during the event.

Bleacher seats or gym floor seats will be available, so organizers recommend bringing a pillow or blanket to sit on.

The team will also be giving away three prizes during the family-friendly event: an Apparel Gift Bag (Dry-Fit Shirt, Sweatshirt, and Shorts), four tickets to a regular Yankee home game, and four tickets to a premium Yankee home game.
