Ex-Mahwah High School Teacher Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Teen
Breaking: Joshua Green, 33, works for another school district. He allegedly had sexual relations with a teenager in 2015, authorities said.

MAHWAH, NJ — Joshua Green, a former teacher at Mahwah High School, was arrested and charged with sexaul assault Wednesday, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes announced Thursday.
Green, 33, of Clifton allegedly had sexual relations with a teenager in 2015 while they were a student at the school, Valdes said in a news release.
Green currently works for another school district, but Valdes did not specify which one or in what capacity.

Green was arrested following an investigation by the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit, the state Department of Children and Families Institutional Abuse Investigation Unit, and the Mahwah Police Department, Valdes said.
In addition to two counts of second-degree sexual assault, Green was charged with second-degree official misconduct, and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, the prosecutor said.

Green is due at a processing appearance in Passaic County Superior Court Thursday afternoon, Valdes said.
