Fire Burning At Harriman State Park, Multiple Companies On Scene

MAHWAH, NJ — Multiple fire crews are battling a blaze at Harriman State Park, including Mahwah Rescue 1, the department said.

"The fire is about 5 miles from the Mahwah border. Mahwah units are operating on scene," the department said Tuesday afternoon.

The park, in New York's Rockland and Orange Counties, covers nearly 52,000 acres of land. The fire danger risk is high across the entire state.
