Halloween Comes Early In Mahwah
The recreation department is hosting a drive-thru celebration, and a favorite haunted attraction is back for 2020.
MAHWAH, NJ — Halloween comes a little early in Mahwah this year, as the township has at least two ways to celebrate the spookiest holiday this weekend.
The recreation department announced a drive-thru event scheduled for Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m.
According to an announcement, prepackaged "goodie bags" and even pumpkins will be handed out while supplies last. Participants must remain in their vehicle as they make their way down Thunderbird Lane, starting at town hall.

Leading the weekend is the Ravenscroft Manor Haunted Attraction at the Elk's Lodge, 1 Foxwood Ave., in Mahwah. Back for a second year, the event is a fundraiser for Boy Scout Troop 259.
You'll have two chances to see the haunted festivities there, as the attraction is open Friday and Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m.
