Here's What's Coming To LEGOLAND NY, Just Miles From NJ

The park may be more than twice the size of the current largest LEGOLAND.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — The largest LEGOLAND amusement park in the country will have a variety of rides, shows, and attractions for kids when it opens in nearby Goshen, New York in 2020.

The $350 million LEGOLAND New York will be the third LEGO-themed amusement park in the United States. It will have:

  • The immersive 250-room LEGOLAND Hotel, which will feature hundreds of LEGO models
  • The LEGOLAND Driving School, where kids will learn how to drive a LEGO-themed car
  • The Dragon "pink knuckle" roller coaster
  • A 4-D movie theater that will show a variety of LEGO movies
  • At the heart of the park is Miniland, which includes cities and landscapes built out of millions of LEGO bricks in miniature scale
  • Other themed areas include LEGO Friends and LEGO Ninjago

The amusement park will be off of Route 17 in Orange County, New York. About 2 million people are expected to visit the park annually, according to an NJ Family report.

LEGOLAND New York will be open from April to November. The hotel will be open year round.

This will be even larger than the LEGOLAND Discovery Center coming to the the American Dream Meadowlands, which is slated to open in 2019.
