Heroin, Crack Cocaine Found In Bergen County, 2 Charged: Police

Two New York men were charged with drug-related offense(s) after a search of their vehicle revealed illegal drugs, police said.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — Two New York men were recently charged after heroin and crack cocaine were found in a search of their vehicle in Fair Lawn, borough police Sgt. Brian Metzler said Wednesday.

Christopher Cardarello, 38, of Highland, and Michael Hannon, 36, of Poughkeepsie, were arrested after a motor vehicle stop on Monday night in the area of Lorretto and Lincoln Avenues, Metzler said.

Cardarello, the driver, was released after being charged with two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, using a handheld device while operating, operating a motor vehicle in possession of a controlled dangerous substance, windshield obstruction, operating with a suspended registration, no liability insurance and failure to produce an insurance card.
