Hundreds To Attend Drug Educators' Conference

More than 300 educators, police officers, and social service professionals will attend the annual Educator’s Update: Protecting Students and Schools in the Cyber Age conference April 20.

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office sponsors the annual conference.

Detectives from the prosecutor’s office Narcotics Task Force will discuss current drug trends among county youths. cyber threats to students and schools and the establishment of a Recovery Coach Academy to aid heroin users will be covered.

The conference is funded using money forfeited by criminal offenders.

The first such conference was held in 1991.
