Local Amazon fulfillment centers and delivery stations donated $100 thousand to The Community FoodBank of New Jersey.

MAHWAH, NJ — The Community FoodBank of New Jersey recently received a $100,000 monetary donation from Amazon’s local New Jersey operations facilities, according to a news release from the organization.
The funds from Amazon will provide 300,000 meals to individuals and families throughout 16 counties in the state, according to the release.
"The need generated by the coronavirus pandemic is unprecedented, taking a greater toll than anything that the FoodBank has seen in its 45-year history," said Carlos Rodriguez, president & CEO of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. "But it's still no match for the unwavering resolve of people in our communities and supporters like Amazon, whose generous donation will go a long way as we work to help more of our neighbors, especially those who are struggling for the first time in their lives."
